With the development of total knee arthroplasty, there are more and more knee revision surgery in clinic, and the constrained condylar knee joint prosthesis (CCK) is the most commonly used prosthesis to deal with the revision of knee surgery.
Today, we can comprehend the application of the constrained condylar knee joint prosthesis (CCK) in knee revision through several cases.
Case 1: revision due to infection (most common)
At one stage, the prosthesis was removed and antibiotic bone cement was used to control the infection.
At the second stage, new prosthesis was implanted.
Case 2: aseptic loosening, prosthesis sinking, requiring revision surgery
Case 3: internal fixation failure, serious bone defect, poor ligament function, need revision surgery
